Polaris adds "Velocity" to Turbo S lineup
Polaris has introduced a new RZR XP Turbo S that they are calling Velocity. It shares many features from regular Turbo S model like stronger axles, high-clearance control arms, a three-times stronger drive system, a reinforced chassis and a more robust drive-train with improved cooling. Additionally, Velocity has 168 horsepower, a 72-inch stance, 32-inch ITP Coyotes, 16 inches of ground clearance, and four-point harnesses. And like most RZR models you can get the Velocity with two or four seats.
The only thing Velocity lacks is the DYNAMIX Active Suspension System that the regular Turbo S has. Polaris also dropped the FOX front and rear shocks for new Walker Evans Velocity Shocks. Both of those changes probably drove the price down. Polaris even admits they wanted to make a Turbo S with "performance and value" in response of the demand to do so.
“We designed the Velocity models in response to drivers seeking the ultimate combination of performance and value,” said Kyle Duea, Vice President of ORV Marketing for Polaris Industries.
